About Me
I
was born in Cleveland, Ohio and graduated from Ohio University with
a degree in Journalism. I moved to the Boston area where I was
first licensed in real estate in 1980. In 1982, I joined a national
relocation service company and for the next 14 years assisted
transferred corporate employees buy and sell their homes around the
country. Over the years, I established real estate contacts in many
cities nationwide and learned creative ways to assist buyers and
sellers with their real estate needs. This experience has proved
invaluable to me in my present real estate career.
In 1998, I moved to Salida to pursue my dream of living in the
beautiful Colorado mountains. I chose Salida for the lifestyle that
exists here, my ability to pursue my love of the outdoors and to
contribute to the business community.
Alpine skiing is one of my passions! During the ski season, you
might find
me at Monarch Mountain near Salida where I am a part-time ski
instructor. I also sponsor and am part of a race team in the Masters
Division as part of our local Town Challenge. Other recreational
activities I enjoy are mountain biking, cycling, hiking and just
about any chance to enjoy the great outdoors with my children,
grandchildren and Siberian husky, Sky.
| "Dear Susan, From the minute we walked in your door,
you took care of our home buying needs in Salida with
professionalism, care, integrity and humor. You even helped
us figure out that Salida will be a great place to retire.
Working long distance, you did an outstanding job at
coordinating all the details and using technology to ease
our pain of sending documents back and forth! You made our
decision and purchase process so easy through the care and
support that you offered along the way. We really appreciate
all you did for us and are delighted to recommend you to
others." |

| "Susan, We so appreciate all the hard work, time, and
guidance you provided during the process of selling our
house. It was obvious that you cared personally, because you
were always there for us no matter what. Thank goodness for
your great expertise as a realtor! We couldn't have done it
without you." |

| "We took many trips to Salida (for over a year)
before making the move from New Mexico. Susan showed us
dozens of houses, as we slowly defined our needs. We were
very impressed with Susan's patience, good humor, knowledge,
and her fast return calls to our every question. She really
made the buying process easy by taking care of so many
little details for us. She even brought her friends to
transport a couple heavy items from storage to our new home.
Her enthusiasm for this beautiful area has certainly caught
on with us." |

| “After an extensive interview of several real estate
companies and real estate agents, we determined that Susan,
with Pinon Real Estate had the skill, stamina and character
we wanted so we decided she would be the best for us.
We were not disappointed. Susan met our needs, she
worked hard, and our hat(s) goes off to her, as we are
rather demanding in perfection of service.
She was on top of the
e-mails we would send and responded quickly with needed
information. When we got anxious Susan was able to 'still
the beast within' and help keep us on track.
This is clearly one of
the differences between a real estate agent and a lifetime
real estate counselor.” |

| “Barb and I wanted to let you know how special you
have been to us and cannot tell you how much we appreciate
your diligence. We know you work hard for all your clients
but I wanted you to know the extent of our appreciation.” |
